A surface piercing placed on the upper cheekbone,
A horizontal surface piercing across the bridge of the nose, between the eyes with a 6-12 months for healing.
Also known as dimple piercings, they create the illusion of dimples by piercing the cheek, often with labret studs. They need precise placement, months of healing, and careful aftercare, making them a high-commitment despite their look.
Low-pain vertical surface piercing. Healing time within in 3–6 months, depending on how well it is cared for.
A popular body modification where a small hole is made through the nostril cartilage, or the alae, of the nose in order to wear nose piercing jewelry.
The septum piercing punctures the skin between your nostrils allowing the jewelry to dangle in between. The specific location of the puncture will depend on the location of what the piercer commonly refer to as your “sweet spot.” If you pinch your septum, you should feel an area where the skin becomes thinner. Healing time for the septum piercing is 6 - 8 weeks.
A specialized cartilage piercing located on the small, raised, triangular fold of skin just above the earlobe, opposite from the traditional tragus. Typically takes 6 to 12 months, sometimes up to 18 months.
The conch is located in the middle section of the ear. This piercing can be on the inner or outer portion of the ear. The inner conch is located in the lower cartilage, while the outer conch is located sits in the upper area of the cartilage.
Located in the innermost cartilage fold of the ear, just above the ear canal. It usually takes about 6–12 months for the cartilage to fully heal, though initial healing may take 3-4 months.

A rook piercing is a cartilage piercing located on the uppermost inner ridge of the ear between the outer ear and the inner conch. Healing Time is about 6 to 18 months.
The snug piercing, also known as an anti-helix piercing, passes through the inner cartilage ridge of the ear near the top of the anti-tragus with a 6-12 month healing time.
A cartilage piercing through the small, thick flap in front of the ear canal with a 3–12 month healing time.
Dahlia piercing consists of two piercings at the corners of the mouth. This piercing has a long and tricky healing process due to being right by your mouth, it moves constantly when you eat or talk. It can take one to two years (sometimes even longer) to fully heal.
A double lip piercing that consists of two separate, individual piercings located on each side above the cupid's bow (similar to a paired Monroe or Madonna piercing)
A single-point lip piercing that passes horizontally through the center of the bottom lip, exiting inside the mouth. Healing takes approximately 3-4 months.

Frog eyes are a surface piercing on the tongue. Healing can take 4 to 6 weeks for the outside and 4 to 6 months or more for the inside.
Instead of sitting below your lip, they go straight across the widest part of your bottom lip, right in the center...they don’t go all the way through into your mouth. Typically takes 2 to 6 months to fully heal, though it might look healed from the outside in 6-8 weeks; the inner tissue takes much longer,
A vertical piercing through the dip above the upper lip that exits through the lip itself, using a curved barbell for a unique, double-dot look without going into the mouth. Healing can take up to six months.
A facial piercing placed in the center of the upper lip's indentation (the philtrum) between the nose and cupid's bow, using a labret stud.
Monroe piercing is the upper-lip labret piercing on the left side (Marilyn Monroe’s mole).

Madonna piercing is the upper-lip labret piercing on the right side (Madonna’s mole).

A hole pushed through your nipple in which you wear a piece of jewelry. Nipple tissue takes longer to heal than most other pierced areas of your body. It may take up to 6 months to heal.
A body modification where the jewelry is placed through a flat area of skin (e.g., nape, chest, wrist) rather than a protrusion. Piercer often uses a staple-shaped barbells to minimize rejection, which is common due to high movement, with healing taking 6–12 months.
A single-point surface piercing where a flat, T-shaped anchor is embedded under the skin, allowing jewelry to sit on the surface without an exit hole.
